Description

Called La Vache until 1890, the village of Beauvallon is located on the Valence plain and was built around a fortified castle belonging to the Counts of Valentinois. Badly affected by the Wars of Religion, the village was largely rebuilt.

High visibility from the cemetery (Rhone valley, scattered settlements on the plateau) or from the calvary overlooking the village.

Public park laid out in the former agricultural estate of the château farm: artificial pond, water reservoir, remarkable trees (avenue of plane trees, grove of poplars, imposing oak), pathway and children's playground.
