Description
The remains of ancient fortifications can still be seen in Rue des Remparts with the open rampart walk. On the opposite side, the modern temple (1973) has replaced the old temple inaugurated in 1857.
In front of this temple, the Place du Chaffal or "Petit Nice" is so named for its microclimate. At the turn of the century, the commune installed a balustered terrace and fountain in gratitude to benefactor Jean-Baptiste MAZET.
